Cott Gold Honey is cold-extracted from urban hives located in Cottesloe, WA. The honey’s flavour is characteristic of the area & the season that precedes the extraction. The autumn harvest currently available is a medium amber colour with a deep toffee flavour reflecting the blend of urban gardenand local native summer nectars. Because Cott Gold Honey is not heat treated, it will eventually crystallise, if not eaten first! Crystallisation is a normal process that does not impact the quality of the honey, it just makes it chunky. By not heating the honey, Cott Gold maintains its superfood status retaining its enzymes, aminoacids and probiotics.
